About Me

I've always been creative. From learning to cross stitch as a child, to knitting in high school, and then crochet in college. Sewing was the next logical step. I started with small projects and then made a few quilts. However, nothing brings a smile to my face and a little dance of joy as finishing a purse.

I try to provide a solid product at a good price. I tend to charge at cost for my products, I want handmade to be affordable.

I came up with ExM Bags when my kids both started grade school and at home learning ended. I really enjoy making things and seeing the joy they bring to others makes me want to make more. The name ExM is a combination of my kids names because they inspire me to take leaps, even if I'm slow to do it. Setting up this website is a long time coming. I hope I inspire them to chase their dreams no matter where they are in life or how often those dreams change.
